In 1996, Michael received his BA in Business Administration, at Thomas More College, Crestview Hills, KY. In 2010, he completed his Master of Social Work (MSW), at the University of Maine, Orono, ME.
In addition to Michael's current role as Board President at Amicus, his professional career and community involvement include:

- Current Board President of resident Homeowners
- Association (HOA), in Orono, managing association funds, reserves, service contracts, and property maintenance
- Current Director, and Past Vice President, of Driftwood Beach Club, a time-share community in S. Florida

- Past Community Volunteer with Boy Scouts, Junior Achievement, and Beacon Hospice

Michael enjoys traveling to visit his adult children in Kentucky, camping in his new RV trailer with his wife and son, and spending time with extended family members.
