Michelle Alley

Michelle started working with adults with disabilities in 2006 as a Direct Service Professional. Due to her passion for the work, she changed her college major to align with the field she enjoyed so much. Michelle graduated with a Bachelor's in Human Services with a concentration in Psychology. While in college, she worked as a Person Centered Planning Coordinator, Community Case Manager and Program Director. She's spent the vast majority of her career as a Program Director overseeing Shared Living, Home Supports, Group Homes and now Community Supports at Amicus since 2017. Michelle particularly enjoys supervising Community Supports as "I get to work with the population I love and respect as well as balance my family life." Michelle is also on the Penobscot, Piscataquis and Hancock county Special Olympics management team and is a certified coach. "Special Olympics holds a special place in my heart and brings me such joy".
